JUNIOR STATE TOURNAMENT
The winner of the Junior State Tournament held in Minden, LA and hosted by Post 74 is the Eunice Oilers from Eunice, LA. The Baseball Team is sponsored by Post 129.
SENIOR STATE TOURNAMENT
The winner of the Senior State Tournament held the following week in Minden, LA is Gauthier Amedee from Gonzales, LA, sponsored by Post 81.
Gauthier Amedee went on to the Mid-South Regional in Grand Prairie, Texas. They won their first game in 10 innings against the eventual Mid-South Regional winner who then moved on to the World Series in Spokane, WA.
2010 SCHOLARSHIP WINNER
The Scholarship winner for the Department of Louisiana is Randy Turner from Eunice, LA. Randy played for the Eunice Oilers Legion team and is enrolled at LSUE in Eunice.
There were four applicants this year and hopefully that will increase every year. The Scholarship winner receives $1,000 towards tuition.
